Osteoarthritis: This type of arthritis is directly related to the age. It occurs in the people who are above 50 years of age. In this, the cartilage breaks and the knee becomes softer. The bone start rubbing against each other which results in pain.

Rheumatoid arthritis: This is a type of disease in which the synovial membrane that surrounds the joints becomes inflamed and thickened. This inflammation can even damage the cartilage and even result in its loss.

Post traumatic: This can result in serious knee injury. It is due to the fracture surrounding the knee that may cause the articular cartilage over a period of time. It also causes severe pain and limits the knee functioning. For such as surgery, you can contact knee surgeon in Michigan and walk comfortably.
